About Calico
The story of Calico started with a personal need. As a record collector, I was searching for furniture that was more than just functional – I needed pieces that truly complemented my interaction with music. The process of choosing a record and playing it wasn't just something I did now and then; it was a significant part of my daily life. Combining a personal passion for music and a decade of experience as an interior/furniture designer I set out to create a new type of hifi console and record storage cabinets.
